Traveline Cymru is the public transport information service for Wales. It offers a one-stop-shop for bus, coach and rail travel information. It will also help if you wish to use your car, walk or cycle all or part of your journey. “Plan my journey” tool is for people who do not know all the details of their journey. Enter your start point, where you want to go, date and estimated time of arrival and you will be provided with all the options available for your journey.
Wheels 2 Work – Scooter Loan Scheme
This scheme provides affordable transport to individuals who are unable to access training or employment due to a lack of suitable public or private transport. From just £36 per week the Wheels 2 Work scooter loan scheme includes training, equipment, insurance, maintenance and breakdown cover. Arriva Trains Wales
Arriva Trains Wales operate train services to all railway stations in Swansea.
First Great Western
First Great Western operate services between Carmarthen and London Paddington via Swansea.
Railway Stations in Swansea
There are four railway stations in Swansea. ATW indicates a station served by Arriva Trains Wales and FGW indicates a station served by First Great Western.

Tickets can be purchased online via the Arriva Trains Wales, First Great Western or National Rail Enquiries websites; or at your nearest staffed railway station.
Travelling by Bus
Bus transportation in Swansea is provided by Arriva Wales, Briggs Coaches, First Call Travel, First Cymru, MegaBus, National Express, Ridgways, Select Bus and South Wales Transport. Please visit the Swansea County Council website for more details.
Park and Ride
Swansea has two Park and Ride sites located at Landore and Fabian Way.
These three sites operate Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 7am and 7pm and provide a frequent bus link to and from the City Centre using fully accessible vehicles. For more information visit the council’s website: Swansea Park & Ride.
Travelling by Community Transport
DANSA (Dulais, Afan, Neath, Swansea and Amman valleys) provide a demand responsive Community Transport service to Swansea for groups and individuals that live in the Swansea urban area.
